It seems that Steve and I have always known where we wanted to go with Peninsula Homes. Even if, at times, we have not clearly understood how we’d get there. As builders, what we know best is how to work from a plan, so that is what we did 10 years ago, we documented our business plan. This original document makes for interesting reading. What is noticeable is just how much of it stands true today.

All houses, units, sheds and stables fundamentally serve the same purpose. That is, to keep the elements out, whilst providing a functional space inside for the inhabitants. Any home that is adequately built will perform these basic tasks.

However, most of us would not want to live in a shed and the way we interact with our homes each and every day is anything but basic. So why just build a house, when you have the opportunity to craft a home?
