Double glazing is often associated with the cold weather climates of Europe or the snow fields. However, its energy efficient properties also bring a positive and notable impact to the homes built in our temperate Northern Beaches climate.

Steve, one of Peninsula Homes co-owners and Director, recently had the pleasure of working with the Kennards Hire team on a promotional commercial on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The premise behind the commercial was for what situations we utilise Kennards Hire.

It seems that Steve and I have always known where we wanted to go with Peninsula Homes. Even if, at times, we have not clearly understood how we’d get there. As builders, what we know best is how to work from a plan, so that is what we did 10 years ago, we documented our business plan. This original document makes for interesting reading. What is noticeable is just how much of it stands true today.

Enter website accessibility -  something almost no one ever talks about, but something we’ve decided to focus on because it aligns with our core values as a business.

In February 2019, Paul, one of the Directors at Peninsula Homes, took on the mammoth task that is Oscars100 Hut 2 Hut, a grueling 100 km run/trek through the Victorian Alpine region.
