Perched on an exceptionally steep site, this home captures spectacular southerly views across South Curl Curl, Manly, and the city. Our brief was to create a relaxed beach cottage that feels effortlessly livable.
Spanning three levels, the design flows seamlessly from top to bottom, offering comfort and practicality at every turn. The home was designed to suit both everyday living for two and the flexibility of accommodating returning family. The top level features the kitchen, open-plan living, master suite with ensuite and walk-in robe, a rear deck, and a home office — all thoughtfully proportioned to create a warm, inviting feel.
While the rear enjoys stunning southerly vistas, we carefully shaped the design to welcome abundant northern sunlight. Raked ceilings and highlight windows flood the kitchen, living area, and study with natural light, while strategically placed skylights bring brightness deep into the middle level of the home.
