Seeing our advertisement “We can use your plans and build at a fixed price”, these clients came to Peninsula Homes after a few knockdown and rebuild designs had been quoted by other builders that were out of their budget.

Our objective was to reign in the build cost of their project, while still maintaining the core features of their existing architectural plans. These clients have a love of various textures and exposed structural elements and we worked to ensure we retained as much of these elements as possible. Our task was to set a workable budget and re-design the home to meet all their requirements.

There are almost too many to list in this home. Spread over three levels, it not only houses a lift but boasts cutting edge industrial style featuring recycled bricks in the stairwell, a recycled barn door and a stunning integrated concrete kitchen bench top. Sustainability was paramount to this client and the home boasts an impressive 19 panel solar electricity system, heating elements within the concrete slab and insulation to all external and internal walls and floors.

Due to the many uniques aspects and the great final design, the home was featured on Best Houses Australia in 2015.
